Electric Performance without Compromise
You can enjoy a completely new driving experience with the new i4. This electric luxury car provides nearly instant torque response for smooth take-offs and acceleration that will push you back in your seat. The i4 eDRIVE40 offers rear-wheel drive for sporty driving dynamics and a rear-mounted electric motor that produces an estimated 335 horsepower and a 0-60 MPH in 5.5 seconds. The i4 M50 offers even more fun behind the wheel with dual electric motors, delivering a maximum horsepower of 536 and leaping from a standstill to 60 MPH in just 3.7 seconds.
All i4 models come with suspension components, body panels, and a chassis made from lightweight aluminum for precise handling. A standard Rear Air Suspension adapts to your driving to provide consistent ride height and comfort. The i4 M50 promises track-inspired performance components, including Adaptive M Suspension, M Sport Brakes, and M wheels.
Driving Range and Charging
When you choose the i4 eDRIVE40, you will also have access to up to an estimated 301 miles of driving range, which is more than enough to get you through the workweek and then some. This model can charge up to 108 miles at a DC fast-charging station in ten minutes. The i4 M50 provides up to 270 miles of driving range and can charge up to 97 miles in ten minutes at a DC fast-charging station.
There is the option of the BMW Wallbox, which you can conveniently install at your home. This level 2 charger installs in your garage for rapid charging whenever you need it. It's possible to charge from 0-100 percent in under ten hours so that you can replenish your i4 model's battery while you sleep. If that wasn't enough, you will have two years of complimentary 30-minute on-the-go charging sessions with Electrify America for valuable savings in energy.
