What's New for 2022?

The 2022 BMW 2 Series marks a new generation as one of the BMW brand's most entertaining models. You can still expect standard rear-wheel drive for the exceptional handling and sporty control you've come to love about the BMW brand. The available dual-screen configuration is now available as an individual or packaged option.

Performance

There are two engine options for the two trim levels available. The base model, 230i, comes with a 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine that delivers 255 horsepower and 294 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed Sport Automatic transmission with automatic Sport and Manual shift modes that allow you to adapt to your driving conditions and preferences.

The M240i xDrive model comes with a 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine that produces 382 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. xDrive all-wheel drive is standard, sending torque to all four wheels to maintain control and enhance traction in challenging conditions.
