2021 BMW 4 Series is Completely Redesigned with Fresh Styling and Performance

BMW has redesigned the 4 Series for 2021 with an all-new look and updated features.

The 2021 BMW 4 Series arrives amid a broad refresh of the entire BMW model lineup. From a bold new exterior design language to updated technologies and further refined performance, the latest generation of 4 Series models speak to the far-reaching ambitions of the brand.

New Looks Inside and Out

Sleek looks have always been a part of the 4 Series repertoire, and the latest redesign only elevates that element. As before, a long hood and sloped roofline give the 4 Series classically handsome coupe proportions. Up front, a whole new grille design gives the model a bold fascia. Standard LED headlights create an ideal frame for the picture.

The updates continue inside the cabin. The driver-centric cockpit offers supportive seats with quality materials throughout and varying color combination options. Features like a digital gauge cluster and adjustable mood lighting give the space a modern flair.

Precision Performance

As drivers from Westland and Ypsilanti have come to expect from BMW, the new 4 Series offers exceptional performance. BMW tuned the model to deliver exciting power, precise handling, and a comfortable ride.

A pair of powertrains are available. The 430i model features a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged engine making 255 horsepower while the M440i xDrive has a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine with 382 horsepower as well as standard xDrive all-wheel drive. To top it off, BMW offers a finely tuned chassis and 50/50 weight distribution that work together to delivery excellent handling.

Plentiful Technology

Cutting-edge technology is standard equipment for the new 4 Series.

Digital Key: This feature allows you to access and operate your 4 Series with just an iPhone compatible app. You can lock, unlock, and even start your car with your smartphone.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto: Smartphone connectivity is now wireless in the BMW 4 Series. Both of these features make it easy to operate your favorite apps through the center display.

Live Cockpit Professional: A new digital gauge cluster allows drivers to configure their gauges and other graphics according to their needs. Plus, the display can coordinate with the center display with media and more.

BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant: This voice-activated assistant can activate a wide range of functions without taking your attention from the road.

Active Safety: The new 4 Series is equipped with standard driver-assist features like Active Blind Spot Detection, Frontal Collision Warning with City Collision Mitigation, and Lane Departure Warning.
